irony

Definition

A literary or rhetorical device where the intended meaning is the opposite of the literal meaning, or when events turn out contrary to expectations.

हिन्दी एक साहित्यिक या अलंकारिक उपकरण जहाँ अभिप्रेत अर्थ शाब्दिक अर्थ के विपरीत होता है, या जब घटनाएँ उम्मीदों के विपरीत होती हैं।
